CHINESE COLE SLAW

CHINESE COLE SLAW 

 

1/3 C white vinegar

1/2 C corn oil

1/2 C sugar

1 pkg. beef ramen noodles

16 oz. pkg. of cole slaw mix

1 cup roasted and salted sunflower seeds

1 cup sliced toasted almonds

bunch of chopped scallions

 

Combine vinegar, oil, sugar, and flavor packet from the ramen noodles in a small jar and shake vigorously until well combined and emulisfied.

 

Crush the ramen noodles in a large ziplock bag. Mix ramen and slaw with the seeds and almonds.

 

Add dressing and toss just before serving.

This crunchy salad is an old classic and comes together in minutes.  Great for a barbecue!
