CHINESE COLE SLAW

⅓ cup white vinegar

½ cup corn oil

½ cup sugar

1, 3-ounce package instant beef or chicken ramen noodles

16-ounce package of cole slaw mix

1 cup salted sunflower seeds, toasted

1 cup sliced almonds, toasted

½ cup chopped scallions

Combine vinegar, oil, sugar, and flavor packet from the ramen noodles in a small jar and shake vigorously until well combined and emulisfied.

Crush the ramen noodles with a meat pounder in a large ziplock bag. Mix the crushed ramen, slaw, sunflower seeds, and almonds in a large bowl.

Add dressing and toss just before serving.

This crunchy salad is an old classic and comes together in minutes.  Great for a barbecue!
