TIK TOK RAMEN

Ingredients

1, 3-ounce package ramen noodles

1 ½ tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon garlic, chopped

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 tablespoon light brown sugar, packed

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 large egg, beaten

1 scallion, chopped

1 heaping ¼ teaspoon Everything Bagel Seasoning

Instructions

Fill a medium size saucepan with water and bring to a boil.  Add the ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packet) and cook until the noodles are very soft, about 4-5 minutes.  Drain well in a colander.

Melt the butter in a large skillet and add the garlic and red pepper flakes.  Cook until the garlic is soft and fragrant, about 2 minutes.  Add the brown sugar and soy to the pan.  Cook stirring for 1 more minute.  Add the noodles to the pan and cook tossing in the sauce until the noodles are well coated.

Push the noodles to one side of the pan and add the egg to the empty side.  Cook, stirring the egg with a rubber spatula until it is lightly scrambled.  Add the scrambled egg along with half of the chopped scallions into the noodles and toss so everything is well combined.

Sprinkle the Everything Bagel Seasoning over the top of the noodles and garnish with the remaining scallions.
