HERBY ROSEMARY, PARMESAN, AND PANKO CRUSTED PORK CHOPS
Ingredients
3 pounds center cut, bone-in pork chops (about 4, 1-1 ½” thick chops)
2 eggs
1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons fresh rosemary leaves, stemmed and chopped
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Dish off the Block Ciao Bella Italian Spice Blend
¼ – ½ cup olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Create a breading station. Beat the eggs in a pie plate or shallow baking dish. In another dish, combine the panko, rosemary, parmesan, and Ciao Bella Italian Seasoning. Whisk to combine.
Heat ¼ cup of the olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium high heat. Dip the chops in the egg and then press them firmly into the breadcrumbs to fully coat on both sides. Place the breaded chops in the hot oil and cook on the first side until crispy and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook for 3-4 minutes on the second side until golden brown. Place the pan in the preheated oven and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the chops are cooked through and the internal temperature is 145 degrees. Total cook time will depend on the thickness of your chops!
Let the chops rest for 5 minutes and then serve with your favorite sides. Leftovers are also really yummy cold for breakfast – just sayin’!!
