BLT DIP

1 pound bacon, cooked crisp and chopped (reserve 2 tablespoon bacon grease)

1, 8 ounce bar cream cheese, softened

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup chopped tomatoes

1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

Pita chips for dipping

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine ½ of the bacon, reserved bacon grease, cream cheese, shredded cheeses, sour cream, Dijon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

Spray a 1 ½ quart baking dish with non-stick spray and spread the mixture in the dish.  Bake for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Sprinkle with chopped tomatoes, lettuce and the other half of the chopped bacon.  Serve with pita chips.

Note – you might want to double this recipe as it tends to disappear quickly!!
