2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 quart strawberries
¼ cup sugar
1 angel food cake, torn into bite-size pieces
1 large tub Cool Whip Topping
1 pint blueberries
½ pint raspberries
½ pint blackberries
Make the pudding according to package directions.
Slice the strawberries and mix with sugar in a small bowl. Let sit until juices begin to form.
In a large trifle bowl create layers beginning with a layer of the angel cake pieces, followed by pudding, berries, Cool Whip, and repeat layers until bowl is full, ending with Cool Whip.
Super simple, super delicious, and super pretty! Of course, you can use any combination of berries, but I recommend strawberries for sure as they create a syrup when macerated with the sugar.
