ASIAN GLAZED SALMON AND BROCCOLI SHEET PAN DINNER
Ingredients
1 tablespoon chili crisp
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 pounds salmon filets
1 – 1 ½ teaspoons salt, divided
1 teaspoon black pepper, divided
1 tablespoon black and white sesame seeds
5 cups broccoli florets (all about the same size)
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup scallions, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil.
Combine the chili crisp, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and honey in a medium size bowl and whisk until smooth.
Cut the salmon into portion size pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet leaving some room in between them. Season the tops of the salmon with about ¾ teaspoons of the salt and ½ teaspoon of the black pepper. Brush the glaze generously over the tops of each salmon portion (any remaining glaze will be used for the broccoli). Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the tops of the fish.
Place the broccoli florets in the bowl with the excess marinade and give them a good toss (there will not be a lot of marinade let but enough to get some flavor on the broccoli). Place the florets around and between the salmon on the sheet pan in a single layer. Drizzle the olive oil over the tops of the florets and season them with the remaining salt and pepper.
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is just cooked through and flakes in the center (it may be slightly translucent in color). The broccoli will be lightly charred.
