HALLOWEEN CANDY COOKIES
1 cup butter (2 sticks), softened
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ¼ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
¾ cup sweetened coconut flakes
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups Halloween candy, rough chopped in chunks (Snickers, Milky Way, Reeses, M&Ms, Heath, Almond Joy, Butterfinger, etc…)
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Cream butter and sugars together in the bowl of a stand mixer (or by hand) until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl and gradually add to the creamed butter and sugar. Add the coconut flakes and mix until well combined. Gently fold in chips and chopped candy bars.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bakefor 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Turn the pan once half way through baking so they all brown evenly. Let sit for 5 minutes and remove to wire racks to cool.
