GERMAN PANCAKE

 

6 Tbs. butter

6 eggs

1 cup flour

1 cup milk

powdered sugar

maple syrup

 

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

 

Cut butter into pieces and place in a 9” x 13” baking dish.  Place in the oven and allow pan to heat until butter is melted and bubbling.

 

Place the eggs, flour, and milk in a blender and mix until well combined, pausing to scrape sides of the blender so all ingredients are incorporated.  Pour the batter into the hot baking dish and place back in the oven. 

 

Bake for 15-20 minutes until the pancake is puffed and golden.  Slice into squares and served sprinkled with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
